The head of the imaging team for NASA's $3.4 billion Cassini mission is trading the Arizona desert for the Colorado Rockies, in a big coup for Boulder's Southwest Research Institute.

Planetary scientist Carolyn Porco is leaving the University of Arizona in Tucson for a position at the nonprofit research institute.
