READING OF ORIGINAL GRANT FROM CHARLES I OF ENGLAND
WILL HIGHLIGHT 350TH ANNIVERSARY OF GARDINER'S ISLAND
The grant from King Charles I of England that conveyed Gardiner's Island to Lion Gardiner will be read aloud on Sunday, April 23, at an East Hampton ceremony marking the 350th anniversary of the grant.
A high-ranking representative of the British government will read the grant.
