PHILADELPHIA_What in the world were they thinking?
When Keith Superdock set out to become one, did it occur to him that he would be kidded about his name? How about Baron Kidd, a pediatrician? Or Norman Brest, an obstetrician-gynecologist? Or Harvey Guttmann, a gastroenterologist?
After all, doctors spend years studying and training. You can feel sorry, between snickers, for someone with an inherently awful name. (Think of Greg Focker, the hapless romantic in the movie "Meet the Parents.")
