WHEN Mr Rich Carlson, one of the FBI's undercover agents in Chicago's massive futures fraud investigation, won $4,000 on Sunday's Superbowl, he did not show up to claim the money. The balding agent disappeared from the soyabean futures pit at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) a week ago, just before news of the two-year sting operation by federal agents leaked out.
