Andi Brooke and basketball have always been synonymous.

Whenever she had some free time during her childhood, Brooke usually spent it working on the sport of her choice.

"If it was cold outside, my dad would heat up the garage and let me dribble the basketball inside," she said.

"My dad would always tell me to lay on my back and move arms in a shooting motion toward the ceiling to work on my technique."

Or she and her brother Brian would be tossing the nerf ball at the 8-foot basket in their home.
