The French Transport Minister Jean-Claude Gayssot stated on 14 January that the Concorde supersonic aircraft would probably resume services some time in 2001.
Gayssot told RMC radio in France that the aircraft's manufacturers were confident that their safety modifications and improvements would allow flights to proceed, according to Agence France-Press.
