Officials at Minnesota's Rochester International Airport are taking an optimistic short-term view of American Airlines' planned takeover of TWA and not worrying about longer-range forecasts that some TWA routes eventually will disappear.
American's proposed expansion, which gained liftoff Wednesday with a bankruptcy filing by TWA, coincides precisely with TWA's return to Rochester after a 10-year absence.
