WHEN MANY Jews, Christians and Muslims think of the term ``judgment,'' they think ``Final Judgment'' or ``Judgment Day.'' Belief in a Last Judgment is almost exclusive to those three faiths.

In the Hebrew Testament, the Last Judgment happens on Earth, making way for the emerging Kingdom of God. Therefore, Judaism interprets the Last Judgment as a time of social, political and religious renovation of this world.
