ALTAI, GOAL SYSTEMS SIGN LETTER OF INTENT FOR MERGER

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- James A. Rutherford, president of Goal Systems International Inc., and Gary Leslie, vice president-finance of Altai Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI), announced today that the two companies have signed a letter of intent for the merger of Altai into Goal in exchange for $5.75 cash for each share of Altai. Based on the number of Altai shares currently outstanding, plus additional shares issuable upon exercise of outstanding Altai options, the amount payable by Goal is approximately $14 ...
