Ulsan Ranked 1st in Regional Production Last Year.

Ulsan was ranked first in regional production while Taegu was the lowest, according to the government survey based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).

The National Statistics Office (NSO) announced yesterday that its survey found per-capita GRDP stood at around 22 million won for Ulsan, one of the nation's largest industrial cities, and Cholla-namdo had a per-capita GDRP of 11.8 million won in 1999.

In addtion, that year, Chungchong-pukto's GRDP was posted at 11.7 million won, while Kwangju's figure reached 7.5 million won.
