WIND-WHIPPED, salt-sprayed and beaten by the Bay, some of the sea's most majestic sailing ships dropped anchor along Norfolk's Waterside Friday.
Many of the masts stand more than seven stories high, stretching above sections of the skyline. White sails big enough to blanket a bus billow against rainbow-colored banners. Thick rope riggings cast complicated shadows across the now-dry decks.
