VIRGINIA BEACH -- A former Green Run High School coach who took steep discounts from a 17-year-old cashier at Kmart on at least two occasions earlier this year was sentenced to 30 days in jail Monday after being convicted of petty larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Corey Rice, 27, was led away in handcuffs after Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge Frederick P. Aucamp refused to believe Rice's testimony that he thought the cashier was only giving him an employee discount last March.
