Hal Morris did not waste any time.
The Reds first baseman needed just one at-bat to extend his unofficial hitting streak to 30 games with a sharp ground-ball single off Colorado Rockies right-hander Kevin Ritz.
Morris' hit knocked in the fourth and final run of the first inning in the Reds' offensive explosion that resulted in an 11-4 Opening Day victory at a sold-out Cinergy Field.
