Boston Beer Co. could end up investing $17 million for capital improvements at the historic Cincinnati brewery it purchased from Hudepohl-Schoenling, according to documents filed with the city.

The former Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewery on Central Parkway is now the Samuel Adams Brewery, named for Boston Beer's upscale brand. Boston Beer said Wednesday it completed its purchase of the facility as of midnight Feb. 28.
