Holy Cross holds off NU.(Sports)

Holy Cross made up for its disappointing showing at Boston College on Monday night by outlasting Northeastern, 76-68, at Cabot Gym last night.

The Crusaders (5-2) used their overwhelming size advantage to wear down the Huskies (1-4) and post the victory after a tightly contested first half.

The Crusaders' front line of 7-foot Josh Sankes (26 points, 13 rebounds), 6-9 Patrick Whearty and 6-8 Tim Szatko (7 points, 9 rebounds) had its way with the much smaller Huskies.
