The biggest problem the Western Athletic Conference council has these days is finding a hotel ballroom big enough to hold everybody.
These folks could be a football team. There are 48 of them, three from each of the 16 schools that make up the expanded WAC.
But despite the body's cumbersome size, the WAC council left its meeting in Las Vegas this week having agreed on several reasonably important issues.
