Lion Mentari Airlines, a new Indonesian carrier, will soon begin flights to the Malaysian cities of Kuala Lumpur and Penang from Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan. The daily Jakarta-Surbaya-Kuala Lumpur flights will start on 9 December, while the daily flights from Medan to Penang and Kuala Lumpur will commence on 20 December.
