Just as dreams have many meanings, the word ``dream'' has many uses.

There's the sweet dreams of sleep, of course, but there's also dream boats, dream homes, dream teams and impossible dreams. And dream is a very useful word in a lot of songs that wouldn't make any sense without it, especially that one by the Everly Brothers where they use the word dream 37 times.

In any case, dreams themselves also have more than one use, including giving people something to talk about. Telling others about your dreams seems to be an important aspect of what sociologists ...
