BRIGHTON -- When John Bramble took the job of Brighton city manager 2 1/2 years ago, he and his family found only seven homes on the market in their price range in the entire city.
That lack of housing is quickly changing for the community of 18,500, which is 20 miles northeast of downtown Denver.
The city's growth potential was unleashed with the settlement of a years-old water dispute for a key piece of real estate that was locked up in the 1980s savings and loan debacle.
