THE cobbles of Coronation Street have echoed for 40 years to the footsteps of characters who have built the strongest community on British telly.

But while Ken Barlow, Curly Watts, Rita Sullivan and Jack and Vera Duckworth are unique, their addresses certainly are not.

There are five Coronation Streets in Scotland and every one has the same spirit and sense of pride in their identity as the fictional inhabitants of Weatherfield.
