PONTIAC MAYOR BETS ON SERIES

PONTIAC, Mich., June 7 /PRnewswire/ -- The use of a 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix for two weeks is resting on the outcome of the NBA series between the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Pontiac Mayor Walter Moore said the city will furnish Mayor Ed Vincent of Inglewood, Calif., with a Pontiac Grand Prix, the Motor Trend Car of the Year, should the Los Angeles Lakers somehow defeat the Pistons.
