Large crowd "reunited" for Walker's 50,000th.

On August 11-12, 1,750 guests from 15 countries joined the Walker Manufacturing Co. to celebrate production of its 50,000th mower in Fort Collins, Col.

"This was more than just a celebration of Walker Manufacturing," says Walker president Bob Walker. "It was a celebration of the people from all over the world who believe in this product."

Four pioneers in the Walker mower's introduction were recognized: John G. Stead, Percy E. Schneider, Sven Gillfors and Robert D. Oestreich. Viktor Nuss of Switzerland drove the 50,000th mower during the opening ceremonies, and ...
