Brazil : Bahiagas back to privatization schedule.

Until the end of 2000 Bahia state government will launch a public notice to contract a consulting company to establish the minimun price for Bahiagas (Companhia de Gas da Bahia), which had its tender suspended in 1998. In 1998 the company was evaluated by the consortium Deutsche Bank/ Natronec. In 1999 Bahiagas reached a R$113mil turnover. Currently it operates with 150km of mesh, delivering 3.5mil m3 of gas to 52 clients.
