The Dutch government's plan to close the former home of Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II, who died in exile in 1941 in the Netherlands, turned Sunday into a major problem for Germany.

Germany's government told The Netherlands government Saturday it has no plans to pay for upkeep of the dead kaiser's former home, will not accept the kaiser's remains and does not want the kaiser's possessions back.
