Quezon dream recalled as QC marks 61st yr.(Main News)

Quezon City Mayor Ismael Mathay Jr. yesterday appealed for unity and sobriety as the city joins the rest of the nation in preparing to ''face the challenges of the coming millennium,'' highlighting QC's 61st foundation day celebration.

On the eve of QC's founding anniversary, Mathay stressed the urgency to set aside personal and partisan interest for the welfare of the country so that official attention will be focused on development and progress.
