Vallie W. Guthrie will live forever. Her passion for science - and for empowering others with her knowledge - ensures it.

"If you find something good and inspire someone to do this, you have lengthened the amount of time you can achieve happiness from that," said Guthrie, associate professor of chemistry at N.C. A&T.
