DR. ISABELLA KARLE WINS COVETED SWEDISH AWARD

WASHINGTON, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Isabella L. Karle, senior scientist for structural chemistry at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), has been awarded the Gregori Aminoff Prize from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Sweden. She will receive the prize in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 27.

According to the academy, Karle is being honored for her "eminent crystallographic studies of complicated natural products."
