The Dutch-British Corus Group and the Italian Danieli group will be the principal foreign partners in the privatisation of Poland's largest steel works, Huta Katowice (HK), according to the terms of the privatisation plan presented by the HK Board. The plan, submitted to the company's owners, the Treasury Ministry, provides for the creation of a joint-venture, Huta Katowice Long, specialising in the production of iron and steel products such as rails and profiles.
