AUDUBON BIRDATHONS TO BE HELD TODAY THROUGH MAY 30

This spring, thousands of enthusiastic birdwatchers across the country will participate in the world's most competitive birding event -- the Audubon Birdathon. Organized by the National Audubon Society, Birdathons will take place between April 1 and May 30, depending on the peak migration in a particular locale.

A Birdathon is a competitive bird count, with sponsors pledging a certain amount of money based on the number of bird species seen in a chosen 24-hour period. ...
