The government is moving to compensate veterans for damages caused by defoliants, which were sprayed in the Demilitarized Zone bordering North Korea during 1968-69.
The Patriots and Veterans Administration Agency (PVAA) said yesterday it is working out a plan to give defoliant victims compensation, which will be equivalent to the sum offered to Vietnam War veterans suffering from Agent Organge-related illnesses.
