Part of southern Seoul is expected to be designated as a software valley or a venture business complex by the end of this year.
Seoul City said yesterday such districts as Teheran Street in Kangnam-ku and the area surrounding Yangjae-dong and Poi-dong in Socho-ku will be selected as bases for software and venture firms.
The municipal government said it planned to estimate how many venture businesses and software makers are located in the regions.
