The artist Na Hae-sok was a Korean social pioneer who is honored this month as one of Korea's outstanding cultural figures. An exhibition featuring her life and work was recently held at the Seoul Fine Arts Center. I have been especially attracted to Na Hae-sok's artistic genius since I was a young student.
