The Ministry of Information and Communication unveiled a package to rate Internet contents in a bid to set up a filtering channel against pornographic and other harmful materials on the Web.

The ministry cited the flood of pornographic websites and violence-ridden contents, which are exposed to the youth in Korea -- spawning a host of social problems, for the rating system.
