Thirty college students from four countries, including Korea, will meet today and tomorrow on Cheju Island to discuss issues involving islands, such as their ecosystems and protection from pollution.
The participants are 22 students from Korean universities, four from Taiwan and two each from Japan and Australia at the first international conference co-organized by Cheju National University (CNU) and the World Association for Island Studies (WAIS).
