Seoul City authorities said yesterday that 570 pilings of 17 bridges along the Han River will be inspected intensively by diving specialists armed with up-to-date equipment. At the same time, results of the inspection will be made public immediately.

Seoul City will form a team of inspectors composed of civilian divers and city officials to check the status of erosion in structures buttressing the bridge supports.
