NEW YORK--Judith Jack, a fine jewelry manufacturer best known for its marcasite pieces, has added a line of handbags and belts adorned with jewelry for holiday/resort.
"I often pin one of our marcasite brooches to my handbag when I go out in the evening," said Judith Rosenberg, an owner of the 20-year-old firm, based here.
Rosenberg projected first-year volume for the belts and bags will be $3 million to $4 million. "Eventually, I hope our leather goods volume will be as high as our jewelry volume."
