On Sept. 1, the 63 pro-North Korean ``long-term prisoners,'' who defied conversion to the South, came to gather at the Seoul's Pugak Park Hotel on the foothills of Mt. Pukhan on the eve of their home return to North Korea.

Though, ``Pukhan,'' the name of the mountain has nothing to do with North Korea, yet the phonetic sounds of the two are the same. However, the stairway leading to the floor of the rooms the ex-prisoners were staying in was blocked by heavy wooden cases in contrast with the lobby for fre meeting.
