COTTON MAKES A BID TO SAVE DUBIED SA UNIT

COUVET, Switzerland (FNS) -- British textile gian William Cotton is out of save part of dubied SA, to a troubled Swiss knitting machine maker.

Cotton plans to buy the knitting machines tool division.

Once-prestigious Dubied has officially anounced debts of 46,100,000 Swiss francs ($33 million). Assets were estimated by public assessors at 26,600,000 francs ($19 million).
