A state appeals court yesterday overturned Bellingham's curfew and might have imperiled similar ordinances in dozens of other cities and counties in Washington.
Three judges of the Washington Court of Appeals in Seattle ruled unanimously that Bellingham's curfew ``infringes on a minor's fundamental freedom of movement and expression, and it is not narrowly tailored to address the problem of juvenile crime.'' The judges also said the Bellingham curfew is unconstitutionally vague.
