Military Force won the feature race at Emerald Downs yesterday, but it was the horse's jockey, Pedro Alvarado, who was a force throughout the day.

Not only did Alvarado guide Military Force to the winner's circle in the $9,500 Las Margaritas Restaurant Purse, he also collected wins in the third race with Mighty Jo Howard and the seventh race with Winston.

Alvarado finished Day No. 20 3-1-0 in six mounts.
