The Federal Aviation Administration has found Boeing in violation of nearly a dozen production procedures - including installing improper fasteners - involving Boeing 737 tail wing sections.
The findings, disclosed in internal Boeing documents, could result in financial penalties. The production mistakes were discovered by a special FAA quality assurance team during inspections earlier this month at Boeing's Renton factory where the 737 is built.
