DARING Irish yachtsmen last night told how they defied a ban and secretly entered Russian territorial waters to sail into the record books.
Braving icebergs and polar bears, the six-man crew reached Victoria Island, or Lostrov Viktoriya, to become the first to sail a small ship so far north.
Earlier they had been quizzed by the Russian navy and then refused visas by the authorities.
