Some NC Mills Pigeonhole Plans for Loom Purchases
Several textile mills in North Carolina and Virginia have pigeonholed plans for weaving machine purchases. But when purchasing plans are put into motion in the near future, some will concentrate on machines with sophisticated electronics as the major feature, executives said.
A DNR survey indicates that the timing of the purchases and the loom model choices are still under consideration.
