Azerbaijan has recently been stepping up efforts to sell gas to Turkey, reports Iran Daily newspaper. Such moves have prompted Iran to sign a gas supply agreement with Turkey, which aims at assuring Tehran that it will not be overcome as a gas supplier by Azerbaijan.
