THE NATIONAL LIBERATION MOVEMENTS OF THE OROMOS AND SOUTHERN SUDANESE are new types of anticolonial struggles in the postindependent peripheral nation-states of Ethiopia and Sudan, and they aim to facilitate the national self-determination of Oromia and the southern Sudan respectively.
