Vice President Al Gore yesterday voiced relief and enthusiasm that the United States had worked through ``a sticky wicket'' with the Russians on Kosovo, while excoriating the Republican-controlled Congress as having ``nothing to show'' on gun safety at home.

In an interview as his plane approached touchdown in Seattle, Gore decried House GOP leaders for their ``cravenness'' to the National Rifle Association.
