New Pohang head coach Choi Soon-ho saw his debut sabotaged by some eccentric refereeing as his side went down 2-0 to Puchon.

Chonbuk stayed on course for the playoffs with a narrow win over Chunnam, while on Saturday, Anyang squeezed past Pusan with a late winner from Choi Yong-soo, Songnam overpowered a spirited Suwon, and Taejon got their third straight win.
