Rain brings more visitors to goat barn Animals bring smiles to faces of fair goers.(News)

For Stacey Stutzman, a trip to the Lake County Fair's dairy goat barn is a trip back in time.

As she rubbed a goat's neck and stared into its deep brown eyes Sunday at the Lake County Fair, she remembered life on her family's farm when she was a child, and she smiled.

"I love goats," the Libertyville woman said. "We come every year and see them all."

Stutzman isn't alone in her love for the beasts. As the fair wrapped up Sunday - a day marred by rain and cold - plenty of fair goers spent time with the occupants of the goat barn.
