ROBERTO POLO: A REAL ARTIST'S RISE AND FALL

PARIS -- "I was a good bullshit artist," said Roberto Polo, as he recalled his early career-building days in New York.

This self-assessment came in an interview with WWD earlier this spring, probably one of the last the financier gave before his fortunes began unraveling in court suits, a court seizure of his possessions in Paris and an international warrant for his arrest.
