Marian Cooley's letter in the April 3 Post speaks of Christian Science in a way that is foreign to my own experience with its teachings. Christian Science parents love their children and want the best care for them.

In my family of five children, understanding the nature of God as love as presented in the Bible and developed in ''Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures'' has been entirely adequate for healing every physical problem we have encountered. The teachings and practice of Christian Science are consistent with the rights of children to a loving home.
